Marine Work - Dredging
Port of Port Angeles Terminal 3 Maintenance Dredge
Location: Port Angeles, Washington - Marine Terminal 3
Description: Our team performed maintenance dredging at the Port of Port Angeles, Washington. Mechanical dredging was performed using a 140 ton Manitowoc Crane and a 4.5 cubic yard Cable Arm Clamshell Bucket. The Cable Arm Environmental bucket used is specialized for projects with contaminants. Approximately 15,300 cubic yards of material was removed during the course of the project. The operator was directed exactly where to dig by the ClamVision program, which used a georeferenced autocad drawing to outline the dredge area limit. 3 dump trucks - each capable of holding 10 cubic yards - were used to haul material to an upland disposal site.
