About Us


Legacy Contracting specializes in building heavy highway projects, marine work, and utility improvements for public and private entities in the states of Oregon and Washington. The company was founded in January 2009.


Mission Statement:

To build a construction company diversified in public utility improvements, marine projects, and heavy highway projects, committed to a safe work place, quality workmanship, on-time completion, profitability, and competitive pricing.


Company History

Legacy Contracting was formed in January 2009. Legacy's main focus has been building projects as subcontractor and prime contractor for City Municipalities, ODOT, FHWA and other government agencies.

Legacy Contracting’s main office is currently located at 41850 Kingston-Jordan Rd in Stayton, Oregon. They currently have 25 employees in the field and two full-time employees in the main office, in addition to the principals.


Legacy Contracting specializes in heavy highway projects on public works contracts, marine construction, and utility improvements for various government agencies. They are also experienced in earth work, drainage systems, paving, aggregate work, docks, pile driving, site preparation, building foundations, shoring walls, culverts, and fish screening systems.

The principals have over 40 years of combined experience in all facets of bridge building, including wood structures, steel structures, poured in place concrete structures, precast structures, post-tensioned box structures, and water treatment plants.

The principals have performed work for ODOT, Caltrans, WASDOT, Jackson County, Polk County, Intel, Nike, Coquille Indian tribe, City of Ashland, City of Medford, City of Salem, City of Dallas, Port of Florence, City of Albany, Port of Brookings, FHWA, and Douglas County.

The majority of the work performed by Legacy Contracting and its principals has been government infrastructure and public utility improvements contracts based on low bid fixed price.
